2025 Year in Review – Growth, Internationalisation, Knowledge Exchange

As always, the end of the year is a time to look back, pause for reflection and say thank you. The overall economic situation has kept us busy this year and confirmed how important reliable partnerships and trusting exchanges are. We would like to express our sincere thanks to you for this.

There is a great need for restructuring in Germany, with markets characterised by volatility and geopolitical uncertainty. Resilient supply chains need to be established and companies successfully transformed. The fact that the expertise of CROs is particularly in demand in these times has been reported by ARD, WirtschaftsWoche and FINANCE magazine, among others, in highly focused articles.

In 2025, we were able to continue our growth trend together with the H&Z Group. Our Düsseldorf office has doubled in size since its establishment in early 2024, and we have also grown strongly at our headquarters. In addition, we have pushed ahead with the internationalisation of Haselhorst Associates and opened an office in London.

We have also grown closer to the H&Z Group in terms of content, from the first strategy meeting in January to joint insights into the industrial goods sector and the financial services get-together in Frankfurt.

The professional exchange has taken on even greater importance for us in 2025. This year has seen the publication of several white papers on the battery market and the role of owner-managed companies, a case study on the restructuring of a beverage manufacturer, and our contribution to the situation of German automotive suppliers in the television programme Plusminus.

In addition, twelve participants completed all phases of a CRO mandate in a practical setting as part of the CRO Academy in March of this year. One of the focal points this time was the legal complexity of restructuring. For the first time, the CRO Academy was open not only to consultants, but also to experienced board members and executives.

Our partner Sabrina Hirniak launched the business-oriented network SheLeadsUp this year with three other sponsors. It brings together female decision-makers from different industries, business models and career paths – with short paths from inspiring conversations to sustainable cooperation.

We are very much looking forward to the joint projects and discussions in 2026 and to making a big difference again. We would like to thank our customers and business partners for their trust and cooperation and wish them and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
