Haselhorst Associates and H&Z are growing even closer. In August 2026, Haselhorst Associates GmbH was legally merged into H&Z Unternehmensberatung GmbH. The merger does not affect ongoing projects and clients. The people behind our projects and our long-standing client relationships, as well as our expertise, remain unchanged.
However, we are expanding the expertise available to you with our new business unit H&Z Performance & Restructuring.
Dr Arno Haselhorst founded our management consulting firm in 2004. We have grown steadily ever since. Our team, now comprising around 40 internationally experienced consultants and partners, develops forward-looking corporate strategies and turnaround concepts, and manages comprehensive reorganisation and restructuring projects. These range from concept development to complex CRO mandates with board positions. Our client base includes medium-sized companies as well as DAX-listed corporations.
Additionally, we support cities and utility companies in their strategic positioning and the implementation of measures surrounding urban transformation. Our annual Smart City Ranking is a key tool for this, providing a unique and expansive database on the development of Germany’s 400 largest cities.
Over the past 20 years, the company has established itself as one of Germany’s leading restructuring consultancies. Joining the H&Z Group has taken the potential for growth to a new level, which we continue to build on after the legal merger.
