Under the theme “Vision, Value, Verdict? – Decision-making in disruptive times”, the Annual Restructuring Conference will take place in Frankfurt from 22 to 24 April. We will be attending as part of the H&Z Group alongside our partners Dr. Arno Haselhorst, Sabrina Hirniak, Johann Georg von Hülsen, Stefan Aichbauer, Harald Enz, Dr. Jörg Schumacher, Dr. Maximilian Eber, Carl Schoenaich-Carolath and Tobias Hassel.
On 24 April, the day of the financing event, Sabrina Hirniak will give a presentation on “The CRO as an AI Enabler”. She will show how AI has become an integral part of a company’s future viability and how this affects the work of the Chief Restructuring Officer – far beyond the use of AI-based tools.

Around the same time, on 22 and 23 April, the annual conference “Resolutely into the Future – Pathways for Change in Municipal Utilities” will take place in Berlin. Whether it is electricity, gas, district heating or water – it is hard to imagine our daily lives without the services provided by utility companies. Yet the companies behind them are facing a major challenge: How can they finance the transition to renewable energy sources? According to KfW, 535 billion euros must be invested in Germany’s heating, electricity and gas distribution networks alone over the next 20 years in order to bring about the energy transition.
The sector is highly diverse. In addition to public and private sector organizations, there is also enormous variation in company size and focus. Sector benchmarking can serve as a valuable starting point. Building on this, areas for improvement can be identified in a targeted manner, and measures can be developed and implemented for selected departments.
In the webinar, Managing Partner Johann Georg von Hülsen will demonstrate how utility companies can optimize their organisational structures and thereby unlock significant potential. Given the rising cost of living, any savings that utilities can pass on to their customers are urgently needed if they are to remain competitive. The webinar will be held in German.
