This experienced restructuring manager had been appointed to the company’s executive board as its CRO in June 2020. Since then, he has succeeded in stabilizing the confidence of the BENTELER Group’s more than 100 financing partners and key customers in relation to the Group’s future.

Ralf Göttel, CEO of the BENTELER Group, thanked Dr. Arno Haselhorst for the very solid support which he had provided in the past year: “His all-round experience was an important source of leverage in our discussions with our financing partners and played a key role at the end of the year in our securing funding until 2024."

Arno Haselhorst has now handed over the reins to the company’s new CRO, Michael Baur. This managing partner of the management consulting firm AlixPartners is to assist BENTELER International AG as the third member of its executive board with immediate effect and will supervise the operational implementation of its restructuring process within the scope of its ongoing transformation program.
